Trail looking towards Duckmanton

Track leading up towards A632 /arkwright /bridge. Not currently accessible on the bike, but could be a great alternative in time.

Looking towards the busy A632 and well constructed bridge made for the opencasting

Clearance under bridge on busy road. There's steep banks of earth on either side of the bridge though

Bridge at busy A632 road, a good few feet of clearance under the bridge, on both sides. The bridge could be opened up and used as part of a cycle trail.

Footpath /farming access track

Footpath & farmers access route under M1

Access alongside Chesterfield Canal under Main Road.

Cuckoo Way, towpath for the Chesterfield Canal, the canal should be returning along this stretch within the next few years

K Barrier between Avenue site and Mill Lane - too narrow!

This Sustrans cycle route runs along an old railway line as is evident here at this bridge - and with the motorbike deterrent gate at the end.

Good wide riding surface here, allowing conversation

Access point to the bridleway for horses and stern no parking signs

Sustrans NCN cycle track on former railway route

Bridleway / cycletrack NCN 67 / 62

Looking down onto the area where a new bridleway is being constructed to form an alternative to this busy road.
